DRAFTING AND BLUFFING GAME: A modern classic, Citadels is a simple-to-play, yet deeply strategic game of bluffing and strategy. Citadel’s accessible rules and rewarding game play make it perfect for players new to tabletop games and veteran gamers alike. FORM ALLIANCES: Each turn you’ll draft one of the available characters for that round. Characters determine the order turns will go in and what special abilities players can use on their turn. For example, thieves steal gold and assassins eliminate other characters. BUILD KINGDOMS: When your charter activates, you’ll be able to collect gold, draw and select a district card, and build a district from your hand. What districts you build will determine your strategy and how many victory points you’ll earn at the end of the game. REVISED EDITION: This is the definitive edition of Citadels. This revised edition is repackaged in a smaller, easier to carry box and contains all previously released Citadels content. NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: Citadels is a strategic drafting game for 2 to 8 players, aged 10 and up. The average playtime is 30 to 60 minutes.
